The Industrial Boiler Branch of China Electrical Equipment Industry Association (CIBB) （the former "China Industrial Boiler Industry Association"）was founded in 1993 and incorporated into the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association in 1996. It carries out works in the name of CIBB.

As an industry self disciplined organization, the Industrial Boiler Branch focuses on the purpose of serving the members, serving the industry and serving the government, plays the role of bridge and link between the relevant government departments and enterprises.

The Secretariat of industrial boiler branch organizes the works in accordance with the annual plan of the board of directors:

1. Organize to work out the industry development plan for providing decision support for the government department.
2. Carry out the energy-saving work of industrial boiler industry around National strategy of energy saving and emission reduction.
3. Carry out technical exchanges in the industry and promote the improvement of the overall technical level of the industry.
4. Organize to formulate and revise the standard of the association to promote the quality of the products.
5. Hold the industry exchange activities at home and abroad, regularly organize international boiler exhibition.
6. Carry out the statistical analysis and market forecast of industry econo-technical norms.
